Position Overview:

Overview:
Partner with the business on the development and execution of a nutrition innovation strategy to enable the acceleration of growth of our business in both existing and new beverage categories. Establish our nutrition advocacy strategy to protect and sustain our products and ingredients. Provide guidance as a nutrition subject matter expert to Coca-Cola North America (CCNA). Advocate for CCNA credibly as a nutrition expert in industry, professional, and scientific associations

Function Specific Activities:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide scientific leadership to build nutrition advocacy and innovation strategies for CCNA.
  • Identify and guide scientific opportunities for enabling health and wellness-focused innovation opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a strong external network of health and nutrition stakeholders including academics, policy makers, and industry peers.
  • Establish and execute nutrition strategy to advocate for our product categories and ingredients.

Requirements:

  • Experience:  12+ years of experience in a similar role in food industry, trade association, or related industry.
  • Education:  Masters Required & Doctorate/JD/Ph.D./MD highly preferred
