Position Overview:

Performs skilled maintenance and repair services of facility or/and production plant systems such as mechanical, electrical and building or/and production line systems; ability to interpret blueprints and schematics; has knowledge of methods, practices and techniques of maintaining building and facilities. Individual contributor that is fully proficient in applying established standards; knowledge base acquired from several years of experience in particular area; works independently; may coach other para-professionals.

Function Specific Activities:

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting and repair packaging equipment, conveyor systems, process systems, treated water system, and plant M&E as needed.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and PLC based control systems
  • Assist and participate in preparation for internal and external audits.
  • Read electrical schematics
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on mechanical systems
  • Execution of work orders to improve equipment, utilities, and facility.
  • Install machinery and equipment as required
  • Maintain working area clean and organized.
  • Maintain tools and assigned equipment in good condition.
  • Comply with Quality, Health, Safety, Environmental, Food Safety and all regulatory policies, rules and procedures.
  • Tracking and replenishing parts inventory
  • Assist and coordinate engineers and contractors with projects and PMs.

Education: 

  • NA (Must pass Ramsey Assessment Test)

Skills

  • Position requires ability to focus, handle stress, and work well in team based environment, as well as individual accountability. 
  • Ability to work in a hot and humid warehouse environment.
