Position Overview:

As a key member of Mainland China Strategy (MCS), the incumbent shares the responsibility in driving the transformation of data and analytic capability, and the process of sales planning and review to ensure the delivery of annual targets and maximizing growth opportunities.

Key objectives of the Operations Planning function include:

? Business planning - work closely with Mainland China Region leadership and coordinate across functions to translate overall business strategy and key initiatives into franchise business plans, ensuring integration and consistency across franchises.

? Performance tracking & analysis - provide disciplined and systematic tracking on key market and performance indicators, provide forecasting and analytic drive in sales planning/rolling estimates process, and actively contribute to the identification and follow-up on key gaps and opportunities.

? Business intelligence - partner with Information Technology to lead on the building and maintenance of an integrated business intelligence and planning solution (IBIPS) to support on business management and decision-making in converting data insights to system business results.

? Special operations projects - spearhead or be an active contributor to mission-critical operations projects to address specific issues or opportunities as required by Mainland China Region leadership team.

Function Specific Activities:

Key Result Areas :

Business planning

  • Collaborate and coordinate across functions on franchise planning calendar and an optimized process.
  • Translate strategy and initiatives to standard planning guidelines in terms of targets and key building blocks.
  • Consolidate cross-function & franchise BP's to support mgmt. review and identification of gaps & opportunities.
  • Design and apply forecasting analysis, models, simulations and scenarios to support on opportunity identification.

Performance tracking & analysis

  • Develop scoreboard/KPIs to keep track of BP execution and opportunities benchmarking.
  • Manage the weekly & monthly performance planning processes - identify key variances vs. plan & opportunities.
  • Consolidate and prepare business reporting and analysis as required by management.
  • Provide analysis and forecasting as required to support supply chain planning.

Business intelligence

  • Partner with IT to design, rollout, integrate and continually enhance on IBIPS system and processes.
  • Build easy-to-use/self-service data analytic and planning tools to empower frontline managers (e.g. Tableau).
  • Demonstrate value creation from joint data analysis/insights to business results to enhance system info sharing.
  • Tap onto big data and advanced analytics to master latest digital trends and opportunities.

Special operations projects

  • Manage the annual bottler award program from design to implementation.
  • Support on the management of transshipment issues with bottlers in China.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Good knowledge and experience of China, beverage industry and KO system.
  • Related background such as commercial, operations, marketing, consulting, or research and analysis.
  • Strong quantitative/analytical skills and strategic thinking.
  • Experience applying retail and consumer tracking, custom research would be a plus.
  • Familiar with quantitative software and data system management would be an advantage.
  • Education & Professional Qualification: MBA or Bachelor degree on business or related. Language Requirements: Proficient in written and oral English & Chinese (Mandarin)
  • Travel Requirements: Travel up to 20% of work time under normal conditions.
