Position Overview:

The Accounts Payable Operations Analyst will be responsible for facilitating a standardized data and driven, approach to reporting metrics, SLA's, productivity and continuous improvement initiatives in Accounts Payable.

This role will work to assure the processes and systems for gathering global data are capable of providing consistent, and reliable metrics globally.

The position is responsible for ad hoc problem solving and will be a subject matter expert for high level projects that involve Accounts Payable and the client groups supported.

The position is responsible for ad hoc problem solving and will be a subject matter expert for high level projects that involve Accounts Payable and the client groups supported.

Duties and responsibilities of the AP Analyst include, but are not limited to: 

  • Ensure standards and processes to ensure accuracy and
    consistency in data and reports used for decision-making, internal/external reporting and communications.
  • Leverage and/or improve existing S4/Ariba reports to ensure standard and consistent operational reports globally.
  • Identify, research and make recommendations for resolution of data integrity issues.
  • Conduct final check (e.g., check methodology, reasonableness, propriety of information) of reports prior to distribution.
  • Maintain, update or change system tables, files, and databases used as inputs into transactional or data collection systems.
  • Provide related parties reporting for SEC.
  • Create KPI/SLA reporting for Senior management
  • Maintain and update financial templates to ensure templates contain current reporting requirements.
  • Communicate status of work to appropriate parties in order to keep them informed and involved.
  • Identify and implement effective processes and procedures within one's area of accountability.

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of SQL and data visualization software (i.e. Tableau, Power BI)
  • Extensive data manipulation and reporting experience using workforce management systems
  • Knowledge of the operations and use of SAP. This includes inputting and extracting information and understanding the use of the system.
  • Knowledge of the Company's transaction policies and processes to ensure that transactions are properly reviewed, authorized, recorded, and executed.
  • Ability to understand and resolve data integrity and related inconsistencies or variances
  • Monitoring, Measurement and Metrics:  Knowledge of key business drivers or measures used to gauge the effectiveness and performance of an internal group or a supplier; Ability to determine appropriate measures or metrics; Ability to measure against those standards; Ability to communicate performance standards and metrics.
  • Expert in MS Office (including Access, Excel, Outlook, Word)
