Position Overview:

As a Territory Manager you will be responsible for building profitable volume of Topo Chico brands through expansion of outlet distribution, effective merchandising and superior execution of promotional programs with the direct Topo Chico accounts and coordinating closely with Coca-Cola's Venturing and Emerging Brands local sales Team/Bottler. The ideal candidate is self-driven, is looking to be a part of an exciting, fast-paced, innovative company that's making a difference.

Function Specific Activities:

Responsibilities:

  • •Within assigned market, execute the sales plan by assisting Market Store Chains, maintaining control of exhibitions, racks, Endcaps, Refer and cooler assets.  Coordinate with local VEB POC and advise bottlers to guide and develop appropriate action plans as well as coordinating with local distributors in developing action plans for their specific channel.
  • •Secure outlet availability by influencing local key account contacts as required.
  • •Provide ongoing communication on sales, marketing and executional opportunities and perform as contact for all assigned Outlet accounts within territory.
  • •Assisting RM with inventories/POS/deduction/administrative and other duties as assigned.
  • •Submit regular reports and recaps outlining objectives, results, barriers and opportunities as provided/assigned.
  • •Coordinate and work closely with FM Team to increase Topo Chico penetration, sales and brand awareness through out territory.
  • •Provide ongoing communication on market events, news, activities, customer service and assistance as needed within territory.

Requirements:

  • Must live IN Austin, TX market - strong geographic knowledge of the market is a must; familiarity with South and Southwest region a plus
  • BS/BA in Business, Marketing, Communications, Health & Wellness or a related major
  • 1-3+ years of Sales experience with budget accountability, ideally with a beverage or CPG company
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including some early mornings, nights and weekends and some travel
  • Must have a passion for Topo Chico® Sparkling Mineral Water and act as a steward for the brand
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Extremely organized, dependable, self-motivated & ability to multi-task
  • Able to work independently, prefer autonomy and can deal with a wide range of personalities
  • Strong technology skills - specifically knowledge in Microsoft Office programs, experience with internet research and social media
  • A clean driving record
  • Fluency in Spanish a plus
  • Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs.
