Position Overview:

Collaborate internally with Planning, Procurement, Quality and SAP resources to ensure ingredients quality compliance in the juice supply chain. Manage prevention and mitigation of quality systems failures, nonconformance issues with contract warehouses by maintaining GMP Audit program and Gap Analysis for multiple 3P warehouses service providers (raw materials and finished goods) and co-manufacturing that support the national juice supply chain (national continuity of supply). Manage Blocked Stock / Short Code Materials Review meetings to mitigate materials loss with tracking and reporting (average combined inventory value of $75-$100MM (raw materials, bases, finished goods)). Also support increasing and improving usage of the SAP system functionality and standard processes with 3P warehouses, co-packers and the juice supply chain management.

Function Specific Activities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Blocked Stock / Short Code Materials Review meetings engaging Planning and Procurement with next steps and responsibilities, escalating as needed. Manage Shelf Life Extension process.
  • Manage warehouse related quality metrics, SOPs, etc. to ensure compliance and performance.
  • Maintain GMP Audit program for 3P warehouses, follow-up and validate corrective actions with reporting.
  • Train, deploy and maintain the Material Incident Report (MIR) tool and process. Assist with related warehouse claims administration and issue tracking / history.
  • Conduct Gap Analysis Audits for all new 3P warehouses and co-packers or as needed, follow-up and validate corrective actions with reporting.
  • Engage interdependent plants, co-packers and quality on an as needed basis.
  • Work with Procurement, Supply Planning and Quality to develop tools that will build future capabilities and improvements for warehousing and co-packers in the Southeast Region.
  • Ensure serious issues / incidents are properly communicated internally (IMRC, Public Affairs & Communications, etc.). Collaborate on OE work and special projects.

Minimum Required:

  • 4 yr college degree in food sciences or supply chain management, 3+ years related experience.

Preferred Level:

  • 4 yr college degree in food sciences or supply chain management, 5+ years related experience.
