Position Overview:

QA Administrative Clerk: The QA administrative clerk must be adept at locating and collecting data pertinent to recording quality and production records. A large part of the QA clerk job requires data analysis, the QA clerk must be able to collect, interrupt and quickly identify opportunities, discover irregularities and institute corrective actions. The QA clerk must be familiar with Infinity QS - Proficient software, internal specifications, and data collection methods. They must be able to determine what information is needed and where the best source for that information can be found. The QA clerk is also responsible for maintaining block stock inventory. Block stock inventory includes making movements in SAP and EtQ Reliance. Monitoring hold/rework inventory to assist in reducing nonconforming inventory. The QA clerk should be detail-oriented and work well under tight deadlines Their communication skills must be proficient, and they must possess great interpersonal skills as well. Accuracy is critical in this position. Work is largely completed independently, but does require frequent collaboration with management and supervisors of various departments

Function Specific Activities:

Position Responsibilities:

  • Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports      
  • Identify, analyze and interpret trends, be able to forecast future trends      
  • Create a plan of action, or strategies, to increase efficiencies and reduce yields loss. Locate and define new process improvement opportunities      
  • Have a sound knowledge and understanding of manufacturing procedures and equipment operations      
  • Able to collect, organize and interrupt data from single or multiple sources.      
  • Be able to enter and extract data from Infinity QS - Proficient.
  • Troubleshoot problems with equipment and devices.
  • Manage database including Job Operation Utility, creating and closing jobs.      
  • Proficient use of software programs, Infinity QS - Proficient, SAP, Microsoft Office Suite.      
  • Work with departmental managers to outline the specific data needs for each department.      
  • Maintain and monitor block stock inventory in conjunction with warehouse SAP clerk.    
  • Complete JQM for Quality Assurance Technician, assist in Quality assurance operations as needed.     
  • Provide training and advice to associates entering data.    
  • Monitor and adjust production processes or equipment for quality and productivity.    
  • Inspect finished product and in-process data for quality and adherence to specifications    
  • Work with departmental managers to outline the specific data needs for each business method analysis project 
  • Guides associates actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, forms, and work aids in EtQ; communicating developments to management.    
  • Other tasks as assigned
