This primary responsibility for this role is to govern the PMO processes set by Global IT (GIT) Program Management Office (PMO). The PMO will provide a clear, consistent, independent, structured and integrated approach for managing and governing projects across the group, with the ultimate objective of the program delivering to plan.

This position will work directly with the Regional PMO Leads, and GIT Leadership and teams to monitor and control projects utilizing agreed project management methodologies, tools and techniques (including Agile/Scrum).

This role is an individual contributor yet team player to ensure IT Global Programs and Projects use the process and tool capabilities required to run an efficient and effective PMO. Thought leadership is required to recommend process improvements. This position reports to Janelle Lamberson, Director, IT Program Management Office, IT Office of CIO.

Function Specific Activities:

Responsibilities include:

  • Working on the IT Global PMO team which covers:
    • Processes
    • Communications
    • Tools
    • Reports and dashboards
    • Training

  • The objective of the IT PMO model is to ensure that GIT delivers to plan.  Providing visibility and transparency of progress status reporting is key.  The role needs to provide management with the insights and options required to ‘course correct' in a timely manner, when and as required.
  • This position connects with GIT leadership to ensure that PMO processes, tools, systems, reports and dashboards are efficient, effective, embedded and are delivering value to all stakeholders. The PMO is responsible for building program and project management capability across GIT, starting with the tower leads and their direct reports.
  • The role works with the GIT Planning and Finance teams to ensure on-going alignment across program and projects.

Skills:

  • Agile, Scrum, Kanban
  • Experience with Salesforce Lighting preferred
