Position Overview:

The Experiential Design Manager for Licensing & Retail will lead the design of Retail concepts and experiences. This will include leading the design work to reimagine World of Coca-Cola, to refine the experiences within our owned stores and to support the development of potentially new licensed store concepts. This leader will collaborate with a cross-functional internal team as well as working with vendor and agency partners in the development and implementation of plans..

Functional Skills

  • Creative Brief Development - Knowledge of the creative brief development process.
  • Creative Concept Evaluation - Ability to evaluate creative concepts and executions based on creativity, strategic alignment and consumer impact.
  • Creative Concept Generation - Knowledge and expertise of methods of brainstorming/creative concept generation.  Includes knowledge of facilitation procedures for creative sessions. Mood boards , construct drawings. And/or 3d visuals for prersentation/design proposals.
  • Agency Management - Knowledge of methods or techniques used and ability to inspire agency performance.
  • Company Knowledge - Knowledge of Company history, principles and values in order to communicate appropriately with consumers and dignitaries around the world.
  • Property/Program Identification - Ability to identify meaningful and relevant programs/properties that will have the most impact on specific target audience.
  • Project Management - Ability to manage projects to ensure successful delivery (on-time, within budget, meeting agreed upon success criteria) to establish clear goals and accountabilities.  Also includes the ability to develop project plans, allocate resources, identify potential issues/risks and develop contingency plans. Serve as liaison between agencies/content providers and internal and external stakeholders to coordinate content review and approvals, production and implementation.
  • Evaluation of Third-party Rights & Capabilities - Ability to evaluate the relevance of current properties and rights and identify the need for the acquisition of new rights.
  • Marketing Innovation - Ability to identify and develop innovative ideas in order to create a proprietary advantage.
  • Marketing Research Application - Ability to leverage research results into actionable marketing and business building initiatives.
  • Financial Analysis - Knowledge of and the ability to use basic financial analysis related to marketing effectiveness and resource allocations.
  • Network/Resources - Ability to develop diverse network/resources to leverage “best in class” knowledge, approaches and processes.
  • Related Industry Knowledge - Knowledge  Retail Enviroment Design and understanding of industries, agencies and/or companies known for innovation, trends and forecasting in order to identify possible applications to the Company.
  • Vendor Management - The ability to evaluate and ensure that vendor performance meets or exceeds defined performance standards and adheres to overall company policies and procedures.
  • Communication Skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to address various groups and lead project presentations in a clear and compelling manner
  • Marketing/Activation Programs - Knowledge of how brand positioning is interpreted and used for the development of marketing/activation programs.
  • Brand Positioning - Knowledge of specific brand positioning and brand architecture of the Company's brands.
