Position Overview:

THIS ROLE IS A HEAVYWEIGHT SENIOR BRAND MANAGER ROLE ON THE UK's 2nd LARGEST FMCG BRAND ACTIVATING A FULL INTEGRATED MARKETING CAMPAIGN WITH SIGNIFICANT BUDGET.
• The jobholder has full accountability to develop a strategic three year plan and an annual business and execution plan integrating Commercial and Marketing aspects for a given brand/s. This will be done in line with a country portfolio strategy and a clear brand role mandate given by the Franchise Marketing Director, reporting into the GB Franchise Business Unit
• The role is accountable for franchise leadership on the brand/s with CCEP. Building solid plans with consumers, shoppers, customers and aligning with the bottler, the post holder will leverage input from stakeholders for their area of expertise; marketing from the Marketing Team and commercial & activation from the Market Activation Director.
• The role is accountable for regular tracking of business metrics, and report back (in written and verbal format) on a quarterly basis on the business progress to both the Franchise Marketing Director and the Franchise Unit GM.
• This role has P&L responsibility at gross profit and volume level.

Function Specific Activities:

This is a fantastic role to immerse you in to the world of Coca-Cola, it is a heavyweight Senior Brand Manager role, working on the UK's 2nd largest FMCG brand, activating a full integrated marketing campaign with significant budget.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and up-date a strategic three year plan for brand/s.
  • Deliver the marketing plan for the Annual Business Plan, based on strong consumer, shopper, customer and market understanding
  • Deliver core elements of the Annual execution Business Plan i.e. volume, gross profit, market share, and contribution goals through the brand growth drivers
  • In partnership with bottling partners, identify growth opportunities via availability, price competitiveness, Share of visible inventory, channel activation
  • Lead the strategic development of all experiential and promotional communication to support agreed brand experiential and promotional activities.

  • Lead the communication plan for the brand, with the help of agency partners and internal experts to deliver the balance of programs (MPD and IMC) to the market
  • You should be able to demonstrate leadership & delivery of campaigns on large consumer brands, preferably in FMCG with heavyweight media support.
  • Manage key public relations programs for the brand including activity related PR and broader brand related PR and Influencer Strategy in collaboration with the local PAC team.
  • Lead Monthly Performance Tracking and Budget Tracking.
  • Work with CCEP to drive sales in channels and outlets.
  • Lead key projects of significance to the business, effectively managing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating project completion including formulation changes, new product extensions, design or packaging etc. along the product value chain

FINANCIAL SCOPE

  • Execute strong financial and operational system/partner routines
  • Full volume responsibility of the brand/s business in the GB Franchise Unit
  • Responsible for influencing the Bottler expenditure on the P&L and shaping executional plans.

RELATED JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree educated preferably with a professional marketing qualification.
  • Brand Experience leading major brands and/or campaigns.
  • A strong working knowledge of media and agency management.
  • Commercial Experience & a track record of execution success that delivers results.
  • Strong experience in preferably FMCG environment
