Position Overview:

The Privacy Analyst will serve as a Privacy specialist for The Coca-Cola Company on global privacy matters. He or she will provide functional and technical expertise to the Chief and the Deputy Privacy Officers, Data Protection Officers and other business and functional leaders as well as their staffs.

Function Specific Activities:


  • Assess vendor and software technologies and applications for privacy compliance, collaborating closely with IT and business functions requesting the software, application or technology
  • Manage identification and rollout of scalable innovative technologies to support global privacy compliance, including developing usage policies and guidelines, audit and control processes
  • Serve as contact for the Strategic Security and IT teams and IRM function with respect to matters involving privacy and security issues
  • Support or review privacy impact analysis (PIAs) and data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) for personal data processing activities, including remediation. 
  • Train and educate clients regarding PIA/DPIA process requirements
  • Counsel and guide clients in the creation of Records of Processing Activities (RoPA)
  • Support Data Subject Rights response process
  • Support Privacy Incident Response, including privacy incident reporting, recommendations for resolution, mitigation and, in collaboration with Privacy Counsel, execution of any required notices to individuals and government officials.
  • Serve as the Privacy team representative on the Core Investigation Team
  • Collaborate with Information Assurance regarding Data Loss Prevention and other monitoring efforts and related investigations and remediation actions
  • Administration of software used by the company to manage DPIAs, RoPAs and Cookies and serve as client contact for software issues and improvements
  • Maintain “regulator-ready” toolkits for response to regulator inquiries
  • Manage and administer regional and global Privacy Champions networks, including assisting with communications and training
  • Monitor and manage Privacy mailboxes
  • Work with IT, Marketing and HR teams to implement compliance (Privacy by Design) across all consumer and worker touch points and back-end systems
  • Support review and updating of existing Privacy Policies and Notices
  • Develop and provide training and education to clients related to TCCC's privacy program
  • Collaborate with CPO and Deputy CPO to design and establish ongoing compliance and quality assurance programs
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholder groups

Education Requirements:

  • Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree required, focus on computer science or a related area strongly preferred
  • Additional Education/Certification Preferred but not required, e.g.  CIPP or CIPM, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSA, CCSE

Work Experience Requirements:

  • 3 - 7 years of experience with IT or Security technologies required
  • 3 - 7 years of experience with Privacy preferred
  • Demonstrates at least mid-level knowledge in information technologies to include computer hardware and software, operating systems, and networking protocols.
  • Mid-level knowledge of networking technologies and protocols, including Ethernet, TCP and IP and IP routing.
  • Experience with privacy tools such as RADAR, OneTrust, etc. helpful but not required.
