Position Overview:

The Commercial Manager will:

• Lead the development and implementation of stronger Commercial Strategies in the Country via close collaboration with Franchise Country Manager and our bottling partners.
• Build capabilities in the core pillars “planning for Market Success” and “Executing to win” across the Country
• Drive the implementation of Shopper Marketing and Merchandizing, Route to Market and RED across the Country.
• Act as a change management agent and subject matter expert to ensure Shopper and Channel lens is applied to all our activities
• Act as the key point of reference for bottler Commercial team and lead and Inspire field professionals working in bottler marketing and bottler sales to implement the principles of Commercial Leadership providing guidance and advice to specific questions and business issues.
• Collaborate globally with communities for Shopper Marketing and Merchandizing to ensure importing and sharing of best practices while keeping consistent with the Group and BU strategies and goals
• Track global agreed commercial scorecard, being in contact with all teams to monitor and being in contact with Knowledge &Insights (K&I) to further develop the tools
• In close collaboration with bottler, work on key strategic customers and manage directly McDonalds, being also the contact person for global commercial and customer teams

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the development and implementation of the OBPPC and shopper marketing. Ensure a robust process for RGM across bottling partners and The Coca Cola Company. Lead the joint revenue growth strategy and ensure the dashboard and routines
  • Lead the development and implementation of the OBPPC, shopper marketing, channel and route to market strategies. Jointly develop detailed action plans and KBIs with bottling partners. Follow up on implementation and provide support when issues arise.
  • Lead the short-term and mid-term commercial development of the brands portfolio to hit the 2020 Vision
  • Lead Commercial capability building via diagnostic sessions, training workshops and development plans. Act as a trainer with support from Coca Cola University (CCU), Group and Customer and Commercial Leadership champions
  • Work closely with our bottling partner to develop appropriated Route to Market (RTM) strategies and build needed capabilities - Lead / co-lead revenue growth tools with the bottlers and BU; Search and implement best practices of RTM Accelerate the development of Trade Marketing knowledge and capabilities, deliver Consumers' and channels insights to improve both key customers (local chains and international) and fragmented channel plans; Work with business unit to develop commercial leadership and capability in bottlers and franchise teams.
  • Seek out and share best practices and learning with others in the Company - Drive the development, capture and dissemination of best practice for commercial business process, systems and tools
  • Work on key strategic customers and manage directly McDonalds, being the contact person for global commercial and customer teams
  • Track the business performance, identifies risks and opportunities together with country manager

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10 years' experience in commercial
  • Experience in Sales organization in another FMCG is a plus
  • Proven understanding and effectiveness with sales, marketing, and bottler management and commercial strategies.
