Position Overview:

• Accelerate the transformation of Nutrition Beverage Category, on our journey, to become the main avenue for LC growth with a challenging ambition of building up a profitable business in VAD. Build VAD business will be focused in ECU (leader), and PA (leader), selectively play as explorer in Plant Based business focused in COL and in relevant markets.

• Articulate and execute VAD Portfolio, strategies focused in building brand love and @drive consumption, in order to enable profitable volume and share growth. Leading system alignment is a must to ensure successful implementation of portfolio-brand initiatives.

• Lead the execution and amplification of VAD Portfolio initiatives in every country in a coordinated strategy with KOF & ARCA and all functional stakeholders.

Function Specific Activities:

Strengthen Nutrition Portfolio to compete aggressively:

  • Provide direction and align each FU on the local portfolio strategy for Nutrition Category (VAD & Plant Based & PANLATAM best practice innovation roll-outs.)
  • Clarify the role of each product within the portfolio and the right prioritization per FU
  • Establish a roadmap to grow volume/share and profitability, with clear targets by brand & segment
  • Accelerate progress with the defined capabilities agenda (Future Trends, Insights from the Street, Packaging Understanding, Assess Volume Potential from Innovation, RADAR, Innovation Segmentation by Attitudinal Targets, DME Investment Model for Innovation)
  • Develop consumer-based Marketing strategies, the corresponding Marketing platforms to execute these strategies and collaborate and influence with Franchise Units to ensure delivery of Business Plan goals in terms of volume, revenue and operating income for VAD & Plant Based & PANLATAM best practice innovation roll-outs.
  • Provide stewardship to the cross-functional team on strategies and communication plans for the development and growth of VAD & Plant Based & PANLATAM best practice innovation roll-outs.
  • Analyze and interpret marketplace, industry and consumer information to identify trends and insights in order to establish main brand opportunities and priorities in the annual business plan.
  • Lead system alignment behind main brand activities to deliver them successfully and achieve brand objectives in terms of volume, share and key brand indicators.
  • Delivering effective communication and creating a unified vision and brand across all countries, having the ability of importing and exporting good ideas.
  • Effectively inspire, influence and actively collaborate with other functional areas (R&D, Commercial Strategy, Connection Planning, K&I, Technical, PAC, Legal) to set the right strategies and achieve brand plan objectives.
  • Inspire and develop an external team of more than 30 collaborators, creating sense of purpose, team commitment and winning spirit. 

Prioritized Responsibilities

  • Localize BU strategy and platforms to fit market reality.
  • Influence BU communication development and lead connection plan  in country assuring reach and correct amplification of message.
  • Assure cross functional shared vision and commitment towards @ Stills Portfolio platforms and plans.
  • Franchise leadership: Assure bottler's involvement and alignment
  • Lead FU key stakeholders to stewarding strategy & commitment cross functionally.
  • Secure resources to properly execute local strategy

Technical Skills:

  • Brand Growth Strategy - development from market + human & cultural insights, able to translate it into Brand Strategies aligned to Brand Vision & Architecture.
  • Development of portfolio strategy and brand role - factoring in profit maps and category and brand maps (e.g. segmentation, needs assessment) and BVA development.
  • Strategic Thinking - Able to diagnose context situation and company capabilities in order to set and validate relevant hypothesis to support the definition of winning business strategies
  • Project Management - Clear understanding of project management process and stages in order to be able to follow up on key tasks/stakeholders and build robust Business Cases.
  • Managing complexity - the ability of organizing and structuring a wide portfolio with different brands, roles, targets and stakeholders in a constructive way, balancing creative and business thinking.
  • Brand Stewardship: Custodian of System Alignment on Brand Standards, tone and manner and brand spirit
  • Advanced level of knowledge and application of key marketing concepts.

Required Experience:

  • 8 years of Brand Marketing Experience.
  • Consumer Insights Understanding / Brand Building & Positioning/ Portfolio Management
  • Strategic Thinking, financial rigor and commercial acumen.
  • Ability on managing & developing people is a must.


Educational Requirements:

  • University/Bachelor's Degree - ideally with some marketing related degree.
  • MBA desirable.
