Position Overview:

This role is part of the Coca-Cola EMEA IT Marketing Team and as such responsible for the establishment and management of the team's project methodology incorporating structures, standards, processes, documentation and reporting which fit our agile methodology, fits the needs of the project and puts emphasis on the quality of decision making and timely project delivery. As an experienced PMO expert, you will be defining and governing our delivery processes and coaching internal and external Digital Delivery Managers. The role also includes for about 20% of the time owning a Digital Product (i.e. digital capability) and leading a team to deliver incremental value to the business via this digital capability.

Function Specific Activities:

  • Act independently as a Product Manager to manage and prioritize stories for your capability development team
  • Coordinate and facilitate Product Chartering, story mapping, sprint/release planning meetings, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives and demos
  • Enable the product team to have effective sprints by giving clear direction and priorities, whilst knowing when to protect them
  • Foster and coach the team for adoption of Agile tools and practices
  • Provide visibility into progress by working with the ScrumMaster
  • Must be an excellent communicator, able to gain the respect of the team, external stakeholders, and leadership
  • Ability to understand business needs and execute on a business strategy, setting expectations and managing demand
  • Demonstrated ability to understand technical approach & drive technical discussions
  • Executive presentation skills
  • Excellent facilitation skills with ability to influence change at higher levels
  • Coach and mentor team members on a 1-2-1- basis as well as group level, to guide them on ways to provide value to the business

Technical Skills

  • Project Management Methodology
  • Knowledge of technology trends
  • Estimating and budgeting for project delivery as well as for the digital capability you will be managing
  • Understanding of Card, Conversation, Confirmation process with the team
  • Knowledge of continuous delivery practices
  • Working knowledge of Agile project management tools (e.g. JIRA, VersonOne, Asana, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum/Kanban practices
  • Good understanding of the software delivery lifecycle
  • Ensures best-in-class development practices are applied
  • Ensures adherence to architecture standards and promotes technical health of products
  • Evangelizes emerging technology
  • It is advantageous to have some working knowledge of Agile at Scale using frameworks like LESS or SAFe


  • Bachelor degree in computer science, IT management or equivalent
  • Product Owner Certification (CSPO)

Work Experience

  • 2+ years of experience as a PMO Manager (or equivalent experience) working in an Agile environment managing the delivery of product or program digital initiatives demonstrating effective coordination of engineering, design/UX, and marketing stakeholders
  • 5+ years on IT field having had management roles such as project manager, delivery manager and/or scrum master

  • This position will be based in the EMEA Regional Delivery Center office in Sofia (Bulgaria) reporting to the EMEA IT Marketing Senior Director
