Position Overview:

Democratize access to the refreshing nutrition of fruits for all Brazilians, leading the evolution of the Juice category and Del Valle portfolio thru a consumer centric approach, leveraging transactions, recruiting new consumers and driving a profitable and sustainable growth of the largest juice brand in Brazil.

Function Specific Activities:

Reporting to the stills marketing director, main responsibilities includes:

  • Juices Category leader in Brazil, responsible to drive growth thru an engaging and challenging vision;
  • Lead both, long-term strategy and short-term plans to turnaround Del Valle brand in Brazil, delivering solid strategic thinking to hack growth integrating Consumer Insights, Portfolio Strategy, Market Dynamics, System Financials and Engagement;
  • Enable the organization to get ahead of changing consumer needs and high-speed market dynamics, continuously translating insights into bold marketing decisions to lead category growth. In an intense challenging environment, this leader will be the referential voice in multiples forums regarding the category;
  • Lead and inspire a team of 4 people, assuring the best talents in the best shape to impact Stills business thru critical programs for growth: (a) Launch the evolution of Del Valle core, re-positioning brand to consumers and the market thru a disruptive innovation and a IMC; (b) Aggressively grow the Juice Drinks segment, expanding DV accessibility thru a new affordable portfolio; (c) Aggressively grow HE segment, being a brand steward with agile innovation stream in stills; (d) Lead profitable recruitment thru Lunchbox platform cross-category;
  • Inspire and lead the entire stills marketing community, role model in growth culture and a new way of doing marketing with the portfolio of brands of the area;.

Critical Experiences & expected behaviors:

  • 8+ yr experience in marketing/ innovation/ commercial functions
  • Marketing/ Consumer driven but with strong “Well round” knowledge / passion of diverse business disciplines (marketing, business models, P&L, supply...). Pivotal role in innovation and strategic functions/ projects (2+ years)
  • Change agent, resilient with the strength to lead hard conversations, being able to influence, learn and change point of view at the same time;
  • Solid knowledge, curiosity, passion and ability to lead the whole value chain of turnarounds (supply, finance, R&D, Commercial, Marketing, Design…). Strong accountability to take risks and accelerate business and brands: franchise leadership, holistic view, role model in act like owner behavior;
  • Inclusiveness: work with multifunctional team, hand to hand with brand/operations peers and IMC and bottler team.
  • Leader coach: lead and extract the best from the team inspiring, empowering and set clear directions (context = 4 direct report, and a trainee)
  • Viewed by others (peers, up, down and across) as a courageous category leader and an agent of inspiration, able to stretch the whole value chain towards more ambitious / risky accomplishments
  • Position is in the Rio de Janeiro office.
  • Travel requirements: around 15% of time - visiting Brazil markets and bottlers
