Position Overview:

Responsible for performing sales operation of company in a particular geographical area; increases sales of company's products; expands the customer base; identifies business opportunities through various routes to market; develops sales strategies and sets targets. Individual contributor that works under limited supervision; applies subject matter knowledge; requires capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge.

Function Specific Activities:

Lead Activities:

  • Responsible to prospect and onboard new business that adds to the overall profitability of the company
  • Responsible to be prepared in all sales/business meetings and presentations as per the company Sales process
  • Responsible for learning and becoming familiar with all company policies, procedures and processes.
  • Responsible to learn and share product knowledge on all new & existing product lines while understanding competitive products offered by competitors in the marketplace.
  • Maximize sales while keeping expenses to a minimum (within budget guidelines).
  • Ability to manage and maintain proper planning procedures and execute all in-call objectives and priorities.
  • Responsible to plan and execute a well-balanced call cycle to ensure full territory management.  
  • Responsible to collaborate with local District Sales Managers on identifying areas of opportunity within assigned geography

  • Ability to build relationships with our customers and to understand and meet their expectations.
  • Business Planning - Ability to create and modify the Sales Professional's business plan for greater efficiency and success.
  • Responsible to continually increase sales and market share while contributing to the overall profitability of the company.
  • Submit regular recaps outlining objectives, results, barriers and opportunities
  • Understanding how the CCNA organization operates and leverage resources to support our brands.
  • Ability to think outside of the box and get creative with new and exciting solutions to help build our brands

  • Area Sales Manager, District Sales Manager, Route Sales Representatives

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Experience and skills -

  • 1 - 3 years' experience preferred in prospecting and new business acquisition, preferably in the non-alcoholic beverage and/or consumer products industry
  • Ability to travel
  • Excellent driving record and insurance, required
  • Reliable automobile
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills (verbal/written) with the ability to interact effectively internally as well as with external contacts
  • Previous success within a fast-paced organization
  • Strategic and committed to success
  • Open-minded and adaptive to change
  • Professional with a business development focus
  • Ability to effectively manage time and goal oriented
