Position Overview:

The Sr. Manager, On-Premise Operations leads programs, initiatives and projects that materially improve On-Premise (cold beverage) sales performance across The Coca-Cola Company's US business. This role serves as a primary program, initiative or project leader in working with US bottlers, Franchise Leaders, National Foodservice, Freestyle, and Key Account Customer teams to build critical new and improved bottler Food Service On Premise capabilities. With the intent to accelerate CCNA / Bottler revenue and profit growth, initiatives including concepts like new cold drink equipment Innovation, routes to market or go to market solutions, improved frontline selling, tools, process, measures and solutions that increase execution in the outlet, prospecting for new business, and better delivery of our evolving bundle of goods & services.

Function Specific Activities:

Drive Capability Improvement across all of CCNA On-Premise Business

  • Develop Strategic On-Premise Solutions
    • Lead ideation, analysis, prioritization, and stewardship of OP operational improvements
    • Discover gaps and forward looking solutions that enable bottlers and TCCC to differentiate our delivery of FSOP bundle of goods & services
    • Discover, pilot and commercialize new FSOP go to market solutions that increase outlet reach, revenue and profit
  • Project Management
    • Lead project, develop plan, manage budget (typically $15K to $1MM) and supplier performance to deliver initiatives on time & within budget.
    • Collaborate with US Bottlers, cross functional colleagues (Channel Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, Freestyle, Settlement, Cold Drink Equipment, IT, Digital teams, CCBSS etc.), and Suppliers to deliver high quality solutions and project outputs.   
    • Weekly/monthly performance management and stewardship of project routines
  • Innovation & Operational Knowledge
    • Discover evolving technologies, new process ideas and partnerships that fuel capability growth and operational improvement
    • Observe current bottler, customer and consumer tools, processes and solutions to identify gaps and ideas that bring operational innovation to OP
    • Leverage other innovations across the KO system to re-deploy or incorporate in US FSOP capability building
    • Understand key operating processes and functions across CCNA and Bottlers (Selling, Ordering, Vending, Distributors, Wholesalers, Customer Management, Reporting) to enable compelling solutions
  • Influencing:
    • Successfully influence CCNA and Bottler leaders (Franchise Leaders, VP On-Premise, Directors, Controllers, IT & Capability VP's and Directors)
    • Present compelling business cases & ROI rationale to CCNA/Bottler leaders that motivates investment & resource commitment for compelling ideas
  • Analysis:
    • Skilled at building business cases and analyzing market opportunity operational performance, customer, sales, and service metrics

Relationship & Contractual management:

  • Works with Bottler & CCNA teams to commercialize new capability solutions
  • Manages initiative & project cross functional teams (Bottler, CCNA, CCBSS, BSNA, Suppliers, etc.)
  • Manages supplier relationships for CCNA and serves as primary contact
  • Manages SOWs, project campaigns, PO's,deliverables and supplier payments
