Position Overview:

This Scrum Master will be part of a team of Finance experts that will support the transformation, delivery and smooth operations of digital financial solutions across various areas of business activity in Global IT organization at The Coca-Cola Company.
The position requires an individual with leadership experience - someone who can implement progressive project management practices, supporting the project team to succeed, within the framework of a globally integrated environment. Candidates must have at least 3 years of Agile Project Management experience and at least 1 complex or full life-cycle implementation, preferably implementations with a global footprint.

Function Specific Activities:

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing new implementations or upgrades across various Finance technologies, effectively applying the selected methodology and enforcing project standards. Manages day-to-day operational aspects of projects, focusing on quality of the deliverables, resources, timeline, budget and vendor management
  • Guiding the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers.
  • Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.
  • Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
  • Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
  • Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
  • Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially on grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
  • Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible and leading by example.
  • Selection of the most appropriate implementation methodology considering all business and technology environment dependencies
  • Responsible for working with different Corporate and service provider teams to plan, implement and test new releases into the production systems environment.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a Scrum Master role for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory
  • Minimum of 5+ years of work experience in IT or related field, with specific experience managing medium to large implementation projects
  • Working knowledge and experience in the design, configuration, development, testing and implementation of ERP
  • Business process knowledge in Finance, (preferably in large scale Manufacturing or Consumer Products companies)
  • Knowledge of various well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach, (example: numerous Burndown technologies, various Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.).
  • Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative problem-solving skills, ability to listen to and understand needs across diverse stakeholders at various levels of the organization
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with global and local team members

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project management certifications - PMP, Prince 2, Agile(Scrum)
  • Working knowledge and experience in the design, configuration, development, testing and implementation of SAP technologies, preferably across multiple geographic locations
  • Knowledge/ experience integrating SAP with non-SAP technologies
  • Knowledge of the latest SAP Products portfolio and it's roadmap
  • Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc.
  • Awareness and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games.
  • Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team
