Position Overview:

Be responsible for partnering with the business leaders, HR Associate Service and HR My Career in building organization capabilities for Asia Pacific Technical Center (APTC) to deliver business objectives; support APAC R&D HRD on HR initiatives for APAC R&D

Function Specific Activities:

  • Work closely with APTC leadership team to build people strategy in areas of organization development, capability building, performance enablement, talent management, people leadership and culture to enable business to deliver objectives
  • Collaborate with APTC organization to execute people strategy and people initiatives successfully.
  • Leverage HR Associate service team and My Career team to ensure standard HR systems, processes, policies, procedures, plans, and programs are in place and effectively utilized
  • Implement and maintain effective talent management, capability development, compensation, and performance enablement programs to grow talents and capability and ensure a sustainable bench of growing and ready now talent for key positions for the APTC
  • Partners with HR My Career team to hire the most suitable candidates for APTC and R&D
  • Act as a power user to build capability of Workday system application cross APTC and APAC R&D
  • Design and develop core competency development programs for APTC and R&D
  • Provides support to line manager on Shanghai R&D HR initiatives to drive the strategic business agenda


Functional Skills

  • Proficiency in Core HR Skill Areas, Talent acquisition and development, Reward Management, Employee Relations
  • Sound understanding of labor law and workforce regulations
  • Sound understanding of Organization Effectiveness Practice Areas: Integrated Talent Strategies, Development/Implementation, Change Planning/Management, Capability Development, Human Capital Management, Organization Design, Performance Management/Culture Change, and Team Effectiveness
  • Knowledge of General Administration and Basic Financial Analysis
  • At least 5 years HR experiences and has solid experience of interacting with business managers as independent HR partners
