Position Overview:

This role is responsible for the creation and maintenance of analytics to support the development, commercialization and stewardship of annual strategies and business plan of the Sparkling Business Unit of CCNA. This requires strong data and analytical skills, cross functional collaboration and strong problem-solving ability. Key responsibilities will include supporting opportunity mapping (portfolio/channel/regional), retail strategy modeling, valuation of annual sources of growth and scorecard/dashboard creation to support weekly, monthly and quarterly performance management routines in addition to some ad hoc analyses.

Function Specific Activities:

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities

  • Support the creation and maintenance of performance stewardship tools for Sparkling BU management routines. Assist in the design and own the creation and upkeep of dashboards, reports and tools that provide a clear view of performance vs. goals, and the identification of gaps and opportunities. Expectation to work cross-functionally with other analytic support teams to ensure holistic analysis of business results inclusive of sales, financial, shopper and consumer metrics.
  • Partner with the Future and Immediate Consumption RGM Directors to develop and own the performance management of OBPPC pilot results for innovation items. Requires developing a strong understanding of the assumptions underpinning the intent of each pilot and the appropriate success measures of the outcome/results.
  • Partner with other Sparkling Category RGM team members to develop the annual & multi-year planning deliverables including but not limited to quantifying sources of revenue growth & retail strategy modeling.
  • Support development of analytical tools to be leveraged in identification of revenue opportunities as part of annual and multi-year planning.  Expectation to deliver relevant analysis where applicable/necessary.
  • Support the development of the performance team's capabilities by proactively learning new skills and technologies, and embracing experimentation to learn how we best incorporate these into our routines

Functional Skills:   

  • Strong technical & analytical skills - strong Excel & PowerPoint;
    • Ideal but not required would be experience with Tableau//Microsoft BI/MicroStrategy/SQL coding
  • Knowledge of sales, financial & execution data, ideally including Nielsen/IRI data  
  • Ability to analyze multiple data sources to create insights & problem solve
  • Effectively builds relationships with peers and leaders
  • Track record of self-directed learning - both technical and business knowledge

Education Requirements: 

  • Minimum Required:  Bachelor's degree with preferably a quantitative emphasis (i.e. engineering, finance, economics)

Related Work Experience: 

Minimum Required: 

  • 1+ years of experience or internships, preferably in the consumer goods industry
  • Experience analyzing business drivers across multiple variables
  • Experience of working in groups
